Happiness, to me, isn't the absence of hardship—it's the ability to find meaning, gratitude, and moments of peace even while life is imperfect.
It's waking up with hope.
It's laughing until your stomach hurts.
It's feeling safe enough to be yourself.
It's choosing to forgive, to grow, and to keep going after disappointment.
It's watching a sunset, hearing a child's laugh, sharing a quiet conversation, or realizing you've made it through something you once thought would break you.
Happiness isn't a destination you finally arrive at. It's something that's created in ordinary moments, through the people we love, the memories we make, the purpose we pursue, and the perspective we choose.
I think happiness also looks different for everyone. For some, it's adventure. For others, it's peace. For many, it's simply knowing they're loved and that their life matters.
